DMARSPA DECEMBER 8, 2022, MINUTES
FORTE’ BANQUET CENTER
1. The December 8, 2022, DMARSPA meeting was called to order by President Marla Carr. 2. Mike Walag introduced the Lincoln High School choir, who presented a medley of Christmas songs. Members donated $446 toward Lincoln’ music program. 3. Celebration of December birthdays by the singing of Happy Birthday. 4. Pledge of Allegiance followed by a moment of silence
5. Introduction of visitors.
6. BUSINESS MEETING:
A. Secretary’s report: Sherry Wilkinson. Minutes approved as read.
B. Treasurer’s report: Sandra Petre. Sandra received a scholarship check back from a scholarship recipient that will go back into the scholarship fund. Balance 10/27/2022 - $4568.78. Deposits$1160; Expenses Baratta’s - $1040. Balance 12/8/2022 -$4688.78. SCHOLARSHIP ACCOUNT: 10/27/2022 - $642.39. Deposits $1530,
Interest .09. Balance 12/8/2022 - $2172.48. TOTAL 12/8/2022 - $6861.26. C. Courtesy report: Dee - thank you note to Barratta’s for all they have done for us. Symphony cards to Gina Beltram and Tamara Ohara’s families upon their deaths; Get well card to Claire Copley who had a stroke.
1. Menu planned for the year for Hy Vee. We get an entre and two sides, plus dessert. Buffet style. Free parking.
D. Marla stressed to invite people to our meetings - DMARSPA includes all personnel. E. OLD BUSINESS:
1. Next meeting at Hy Vee on Euclid in January.
